Set up practice
Your custom words or text stay in this browser.
Choose settings above to create a sheet.
Choose text the learner will actually use
Enter a short name, phrase, or sentence and choose four, six, eight, or ten writing lines. The model appears on each line, leaving space to trace or copy. Keep the text short enough that letter shape and spacing, rather than finishing the page, remain the focus.
A handwriting sheet cannot judge grip, stroke order, or letter formation by itself. Demonstrate the movement first, then review alignment and legibility beside the printed reference. The entered text stays in the browser.
Use this practice well
Use short, meaningful text rather than filling every line. Demonstrate letter shape and spacing first, then let learners copy slowly and compare their work with the model.
What this develops
Make lined handwriting practice from text you choose.
A mistake to watch for
Rushing for page completion can reinforce inconsistent size and spacing.
Ways to use it
- Practise a child’s name.
- Copy a weekly spelling sentence.
- Create a short writing warm-up.
Scope and limits
The sheet provides writing lines and text; it does not assess pen grip or stroke order.
